на машине до работы минут 15-20, очень удобно. Пешком не дойти, вернее, все больные умрут пока я дойду. Общественный транспорт не удобен, я живу в спальном пайоне, до ближайшего метро всё равно на машине добираться или на такси. Поэтому имеем 3 машины на 2-х взрослых членов семьи. Одна " на приколе", на всякий случай.

I recently saw a guy riding something resembling a hybrid of a bike and an eliptical trainer. He was actually riding it standing up and steering actively with his hands/arms. I only saw this type of vehicle once, but looked like a total body workout vehicle to me. (Y)
Probably wouldn't work for a business woman in a suit either, though. :-)
