А победу Обама одержал по следующим причинам:
1. Безмозглость республиканцев выставивших против него Джона МакКейна. Республиканцы умудрились наступить на одни и те же грабли дважды - первый раз с кандидатурой Боба Доула в 1996-м году.
2. Обама - не Буш. Демократы ловко прибязали МакКейна к Бушу, хотя на самом деле сравнивать МакКейна с Бушем то же что и сравнивать МакКейна с Обамой.
3. Информационная ограниченность американского электората поддерживаемая и поощряемая большинством СМИ.
4. Отказ Обамы в последную минуту учавствовать в избирательной компании на таких же финансовых условиях как МакКейн, т.е. согласиться на использование только тех денег назначенных избирательной коммиссией. Это позволило Обаме собрать (и потратить) в два раза больше чем его соперник.

Hypocracy surrounding candidacy of Sarah Palin is mind boggling. The main knock on her (sitting goverrnor of the state of Alaska, btw) was that she did not have experience to be a Vice President and (if need be) President of the country. And this is coming from the supporters of Barak Obama - a man who bearely 3 years ago was city councilman in Chicago and before that a community organizer. This argument is laughable, if it weren't so sad.

Other than not liking Sarah Palin (which to btw if far more experienced than out current President) WHY DID YOU VOTE FOR OBAMA? what is it in particular that you so liked in his campaign? I, much like Natan, struggle to understand the reasons why people voted for him other than their dislike for John McCain.

What do you know about the early years of Obama that you find so great. Is it his family background? The fact that he was associated with Bill Ayers? The fact that he attended Rev. Wright's church for Gd knows how many years? The fact that all he was was a community organizer? Which one of the above has you LOVING him so much?

If you did not like Sarah (whose 80% approval rating is the envy of any governor) Thats fine. But there was also a candidacy of Bob Barr. What did you not like about him?

Obama is in White House..... that`s done.... he is goanna do renovation, have a pet for his kids and etc.... he is a puppet in somebody`s hands... don`t you think? we will see what`s goanna happen next....

I definitely don't think this one is a puppet, he doesn't strike me as someone who is easily influenced.
