Вопрос о кризисе
 

Вы можете представить человека богатого - из тех, кого считают даже не средним классом, а выше... При этом такому человеку должно быть не более 35 лет (36 тоже можно, но не 45 - точно). Так вот, и чтобы такой человек - умный при этом, а не из тех, кто кредит берёт для выпускного дочери, а затем платить нечем:-S , - чтобы такой человек потерял ВСЁ из-за кризиса, причём от этого пришёл в предсуицидное состояние? Я коряво формулирую, но всё-таки. Очень нужно представить такого человека в Канаде илиШтатах. Ну или иначе я возвращусь к своему мнению, что кризис - ерунда, искусственно раздутая, и вообще... :-) А возвращаться не хочется. Так вот, вы такого человека можете представить? Может, читали о ком-то таком? Или лично знаете?

i guess it's a question of leverage..
there were tons of highly leveraged people who lost everything.. i don't know about their suicide tendencies tho..

could happen..but just the fact that a person takes a loan for a kid's prom - is a statement of financial irresponsibility ( of some degree). No money - inexpensive celebration at home, period. It can't be more then $200-300, most people don't need a loan for this. anything can happen.... most reasonable people understand that even if they lose all their money, but are still young and educated - they rebuild. And , after all, it's just money - there are more important things in life. It's a matter of placing values on what's real.

I seen quite a few of these... My business is liquidating assets of failed firms... haven't seen suicidal ones though... Typically they just bite the dust and start again, or just live like common man - working for someone...

Ира, я прочитал ваше послание внимательно. Это конечно возможно, но не из-за кризиса затронувшего всех поголовно. Человек мог строить свое благополучие на успехе акций одной компании, которая рухнула. Или сделать рискованное капиталовложение. Чего не замечается - это типичности таких ситуаций. Бизнес хромает, многим понизили жалование, люди экономят на многом, но суицидальных тенденций не наблюдается.

Oleg, I was reffering to much more serious cases - people bought large real etstate projects at $300 p.sf and now it is $150 psf... Loosing companies due to multi M$ lawsuits from Fortiune 500 firms and etc... Not ones who loose $100K...

PS, Actually I remember one who killed his wife... He was an American though... Wife was russian... He lost the company first...

Mentally stable people survived much worse crises. Big part of the current crisis was artificially blown out of proportion to pass the monstrous Stimulus back in February. And after that whatever crisis there was became worse as a result of several very incompetent moves of this inept administration:-|
