У нас есть друзья: она-60, он-50. *Они усыновили детей 9 лет назад. *То есть деятм: 8 и 7 лет. * Так что время ещё есть.
А биологически-тут надо поспешить до 45 успеть.

У меня есть пациентка, у неё 2 деток. *Она их родила в 41 и 46 лет. *Дети здоровые, она сама молодо выглядит, ей сейчас 51.

Нелепо и убого смотрятся родители в возрасте бабушек\дедушек.За ними самими скоро подгузники менять придётся а они туда же - детей им подавай.Не их жалко - детей жалко.Когда их дети сами себя прокормить смогут родителям уже за 70 будет.

It's not even about the way the look, it's just simply unfair to the child. They'll be in their 70s + by the time their kid graduates high school if not dead. Besides... at that age.... can you really play with your child like a young dad would be able to? Can you really do much of anything that requires more physical activity than sitting or walking? What a boooooring childhood that must be...

I know quite a few cases of boring childhood despite having young parents. Or, even better: parent(s) is (are) so young and not ready for parenting that the grandparents are the ones caring for kids.
Bottom line: every case is different, I prefer not to generalize.

Yelena, boring childhood is the least of their problems, eto ya prosto vspomnila svoe detstvo i predstavila kakovo bylo bi rasti s dedushkoj/babushkoj vmesto molodyh roditelej. Eto melochi. I da, sredi molodih parents are those who are unfit to have kids for sure, which doesn't prove that OLD parents can't be just as unfit for whatever reasons. One thing's guaranteed: those kids will loose their parents while they're still kids.

или еще лучше: им придется в нежном возрасте ухаживать за своими больными стариками-родителями....

Usually people who decide to have a kid later in life are healthy and in a good shape. Sick people can't ever think of having a "late" baby. Again, I am not talking about extreme cases like having kids in their 50-60s. That would be nonsense. I am talking about late 30s-early 40s, maybe up to middle 40s, but not later.

Костя абсолютно прав... Моим девочкам 13 и 16, и мне часто не хватает энергии на них...
