this Schiff guy comes off as a giant arrogant ass. someone else should be down there representing the one percenters. he's trying to shift all the blame on the government, but it wasn't the government that took worthless mortgages, gave them high ratings, bundled them up into securities, sold them to the unsuspecting public, while simultaneously issuing derivatives that essentially bet against these worthless mortgage backed securities. that one is all on Wall Street.
can you imagine if your doctor or pharmacist was giving you placebos and charging you a fortune for the treatment, while secretly taking a life insurance policy out on your life?
