I don't have to tell you that this country has been the most generous to its children, elderly and disabled EVER. And ANYWHERE. Maybe you should take a closer look around the world. And no one argues that they all should go hungry or sick. This is not the point. What is the point is that when you have an EXPECTATION of a handout then even those who can and should provide for themsleves and their families, look to the government to do so.
