In the face of mounting controversy over headline-grabbing statementsfrom Pastor John Hagee, CNN has learned presumptive Republican nomineeJohn McCain has decided to reject his endorsement.
“Obviously, I find these remarks and others deeply offensive andindefensible, and I repudiate them. I did not know of them beforeReverend Hagee's endorsement, and I feel I must reject his endorsementas well,” McCain said in a statement to CNN Thursday.
Hagee was NOT McCain's pastor for TWENTY years. McCain didn't sit in his church, the pastor didn't marry his wife and him, didn't baptize his kids, was not his inspiration. Reverend Wright WAS all those things for Obama.
But anyhow, Hagee still IS a big Israel's supporter, does a lot of good for Israel...
