The best from Obama would be providing such a leverage to independent persons. No objections in such a case from anyone.

America looks crazy in the issue of fairness (at least in schools and colleges). But my example shows a very unfair case. Will Obama's reform cancel this unfairness?

Well, there's always a big difference between resale and wholesale prices. That's basically the leverage.
Life's not fair. That's a fact.
Now about Obamacare. It basically makes selling health insurance in the US absolutely illegal. I think good doctors will take only cash.

Павел,
Obamacare will not lower the cost of the individual insurance. *It will make it more expensive to buy .
*It will not lower the cost of the individual payments ( cash) for the services) because the cost of every single service will go up!
It will drive a lot of businesses to drop the coverage for their employees because it will be less expensive for the businesses to pay a penlaty for not providing health insurance than to buy health insurance for their employess.
There is so much economic analysis of the negative impact of the Obamacare on the private industry - you can Google it up.
There is absolutely no redeeming qualities for the Obamacare to let it exist.
HOpefully, after the GOP takes over the Congrees this fall, they will start working on repealing it. *(v)

Maria, first, they will not take the Congress. In fact there's a danger that Harry Reid (yes, he will be reelected) will have filibuster-proof majority again (so far it looks like the Dems will lose their seats in DE, IN, ND and AR, while the GOP will lose their seats in FL, KY, OH and MO - that leaves the Dems just one seat short of their goal). Second, they have no intention of repealing Obamacare. I don't think that even a third of Republican Congressmen would vote for an outright repeal. What really drives me mad is that Obamacare would have never become the law of the land without a Bolshevik style quest for ideological purity in the GOP. The Dems did not win a filibuster-proof majority in 2008. But in early 2008 some idiots (Pat Toomey and Sen. DeMint) announced that they wanted to replace Sen. Specter because he was not ideologically pure enough. Well, since he was no longer welcome in the GOP, he just switched parties. We will all have to leave with the consequences.

It's not like that. There are other predictions. If you read National Review ( not online), there is a pretty good analysis in the latest issue showing that it will be GOP year at large.
I blalme Obamacare passage on RINOs like Olympia Snowe. She was instrumental in moving it swiftly to the floor for vote. But later, of course, after Scoot Borwn, aligned with the Repubs.
Arlen Specter is such a piece of s**t. He would have still voted with the Democrats for the Obamacare , even if GOP retained him. We just need to get rid of RINOs like Lindsey Graham and such

I've subscribed to NR ever since my immigration in 1992. The problem is that over all that time its quality has kept deteriorating, and in the last several years it has often been removed from reality (IMHO O'Sullivan was a worse editor than WFB and Lowry is a much worse editor than O'Sullivan - but I don't know, maybe it's the publisher's fault). I still read NRO every day, but I'm not nearly as eager to receive a new issue now as I was in the early 90's.
Specter would have definitively voted to sustain the filibuster. Obamacare is not very popular in PA, and he would have been concerned about a primary challenge. It was an idiocy to provide him with a challenge before the vote.
Reid is a shoo-in for reelection. He got exactly the opponent he wanted. Angle is simply not credible. In fact not a single Tea Party candidate is credible. Unfortunately, the GOP base decided to use the primaries to "send a message" rather than nominate good candidates.

I disagree about Sharon Angle. She is very credible, very articulate, and charismatic. Mark Levine puts all his weight behind this candidate, and I have a lot of respect for him. She will definitely win over DIngy Harry. :-)

Maria, I don't see Mark Levin as credible either. As for Angle, I just can't seriously take anybody who was pushing hard to introduce Scientology in state prisons. OK, I greatly sympathize with the ideas of abolishing the Social Security and the Dept of Education. But those are losing issues. Harry Reid will trample her. She also wants to repeal the 16th Amendment, and that's just nuts. What does she want to replace income tax with?!
