Чтобы понимать юмор того народа, среди которого мы живём, надо, как минимум, родиться в этой среде. Каждой нации свойственны свои шутки, приколы, стёб и т.д.. Думаю, надо понимать язык на 200%, чтобы оценить "тонкий английский юмор". Кстати, перевод их пословиц-поговорок-примет очень близок к русским да и к общемировым, думаю. Люди-то везде, по сути, одинаковые: хорошие и плохие, весёлые и не очень, щедрые и скупые... список длинный. :-$ (v)
