My point is we are not ready for Barak/Usama/Husein/Obama with today terrorist agression. I can tell this as 9/11 survivor and witness.
Leo!!! (Y) Though I wasn't there on 9/11, I worked in the mid '80's at the One WTC on the 96th floor for 5 years and when 9/11 happened, it really "hit home" (I still can't go back to NY just thinking not seeing the buildings) And let me tell you, this tragedy reminds me of the crazy world we live in and I know more than ever that voting for John McCain will make me and my children sleep better at night. Irena.. Thanks and may be someone will understand us New Yorkers, espessially who ran downstairs of WTC just to save our lifes, when plane hit WTC, who saw people jumping out of 100s floor and smelled human meat after that for many months after that. That why we need McCain to protect us and our kids (Y) (Y).

Roman, Senator Lieberman called himself a Democrat today and addressed Democrats streight in their faces on TV and frankly this makes it even more special as to what he said and the way he said it!!!

I have a couple of questions regarding Sarah Palin:
1) What's the deal with Alaskan Independence Party (AIP) ? Her husband was registered with it. As for Sarah there's no direct proof of registration but there're transcripts of her speech where she is saying that Alaska has enough resources to be on its own. Is she nuts (not to use a stronger word ? 2) It's nice to have a woman in the White House. It'd be even nicer if she was of a responsible kind. Let me get the facts straight here: she knew that her youngest had a Dawn syndrome, while she was pregnant, decided to keep the baby (I applaud that decision) and her job. I'm a working mother myself, but I admit that child with a Dawn syndrome is truly a "full time job". |
Hopefully Sarah can afford round-a-clock babysitters and it is not her older kids who take care of the baby while their mother is running around playing politics. No wonder the 17-year old got pregnant, then, it was probably a cry for her Mom's attention.
So in conclusion, no I don't think it is a good idea to have this women in White House making desisoins on other women' behalf |
Let's just talk about the candidate not about her husband, dog, childran, cars. This is a private matter and her family will decide how to handle it. Obama has two young kids and a working wife, and nobody is questioning how are they going to handle it! Stop with the double standard!

Leo, first of all I want to say that I am very glad you are here with us (Y) (Y)
I understand you wholeheartedly because though I was already living in California, I felt it with my heart and my soul, because I "lived the buildings". When I saw them falling, it was like a piece of my heart was cut off and for many weeks I couldn't sleep and was afraid to go to public places where there were many people. I can't even imagine what you and others went through and God forbid any one of us should go through this, but I felt in my own right very much and still get goosebumps when I talk about it and that is why, I want to feel safe in this country and realistically today only McCain can make it happen. (v) |
Katya, I got news for you...... Being a mom is a full time job no matter you have a healthy child or not (ch)

Sara is a really patriotic women. She's tough.
It's her own business to keep a baby with a Dawn syndrome, therefore I am not agree with it, but this is her decision, not mine or someone else on this forum or others. We all respect everyone liberal opinion which is correct as well and very respectfull. The point is there is no strong America bloody faithfull candidate from a Democrat Party today. Thats why it force to vote for McCain and Saira |
I don't think it is a double standard. Her situation is truly unique and requires certain career sacrifices. If she becomes a Pres (hope not ) could she handle it?
