Not sure how many liberals you personally discussed those matters, but most of them are just as sane as most conservatives. But then, there is this fringe on both sides, and you seem to extrapolate your perceptions from looking at that fringe.
Btw, I am very disappointed at how this healthcare Bill is shaping itself.
