i think "hate" or "love" are wrong "personal" feeling towards our leader.
If those are the feelings you are experiencing maybe it's time to pull away from that tube/newspaper take a step back and evaluate what's important in your life.
This is why i can't watch TV with talking heads yelling nonsense at each other.. i mean i can see how this becomes personal to some people.
agreeing or disagreeing with specific policies is by far more appropriate.
That's just my opinion of course, you can though all the rotten tomatoes at me you like :).
On the same note i would LOVE to have dinner with either Bush or Obama or even Palin..

The word leader is reserved for the people who lead some kind of a cause. Like a Communist Party Leader... There are also Leader dogs ...
... and the President of the good old USA is employed by the US Citizens, in which case - he is a public servant.
You may call him a Servant, which would be more appropriate, but not true, since he is not doing anything for his Electorate.

the President is the country leader, same way as the CEO is a company leader.
