Again, Julia police, schools, are all GOVERNMENT. They work for the government. Insurance companies are for profit only. You can only receive government finded insurance (medicaid, medicare) if you are low income or retired. Government cannot start competition with private companies. Somy question remains, do you propose that we let U.S. Government take control of for profit, privately owned insurance companies ? forget gornment offering insurance, we would have to no less than double all taxes in the country. We are talking about 300 million insurance policies. Even if every 1 person has 2 check up for year we are taking in the ballpark of 3.5 TRILLION dollars per year. Thats more than the cost of anything on earth.

I will make it easier for you. Do you propose the U.S. Government should offer health coverage to anyone who wants it ? Regardless of income, status, etc.

Not only uninsured legal resident, but even illegal’s have access to healthcare. Sometimes, even uninsured foreign guests receive expensive treatment (including surgeries) without paying a dime. It is working Americans who are forced to pay for those others.

how many of these people are not covered every year if they have
serious problem such as cancer, emergency surgeries etc.. do you know
how many people die because of that? not only the people who doesn't
have insurance but people who PAID for it for years.. and yes, Roman,
health care should be the same for everyone no matter income level -
the same as if you call 911 - they come to help, the same if they need
to go to the hospital to save their life. if you want special treatment - your right, if you have money to pay extra for that. what problem do you have with
that???! are you discriminate lower class which none of the
capitalistic countries can't survive without?
