Sviatlana - you are not getting me... people HAVE insurance, paying for
it for years, on the paper they are COVERED, they have major problem,
they go to doctor - doctor first calls their insurance and insurance
has to approve to EVEN make a scans - half time insurance
refuse to pay for it, prices are to high for people to pay - and they
die from serious illnesses. if you have insurance there is NO Guarantee that you are OK.

my husband was a manager in major texas insurance company for 9 years - he seen it happening every day.

without any HA, JulijaI know I pay for all those guys....and will :-D

only insurance is insurance,,,, I got hospital with emergency, no oone ascked me for papers.. I was in unconcious statement...They made everything I needed,,, and anly after I opened my eyes I was asked for insurance card...etc....

surgery was expensive :-O

Svetlana Havulya: and tell me what is wrong with that? they saved his life? that is what wrong? listen to you all - your ideas about wars, about health care, you have no respect for others life. unless something happens to someone from your family or yourself and insurance refuse to pay for it... and if it's thousands or hundreds of thousands needed to pay for it, you will cry and and think of the $13200/year you paid to these losers who made money on you and declines you as a human being just like they did to millions of others in the past. Health Insurance in this country is just like a lottery - if you lucky - you will be covered in your big problem, if not - you are on your own.

Sviatlana, if you were in condition to speak to them
- they would of asked for insurance. I had emergency surgery when I was
6 month pregnant, they wanted to wait for insurance response, I waited
there for 4 hours under unbearable pain before they came and told me insurance will not cover
the surgery, I had twisted ovary - if I didn't have surgery in less
than 12 hours me and my baby would of been dead. My husband had to
battle with the hospital and calling our attorneys, and only doctor
himself decided to go along and do the surgery hoping that we will pay for
it later which we did and it was very expensive as well.

I man who never was ill fell with heart pain at a street. His wife called an ambulance – the “universal care” guys gave him vessel-narrowing injection instead of vessel-dilating. He was dying – but the nearby “exemplary” hospital - “obkomovskij” denied his hospitalization. He died – 52 y.o.. His wife died 2 weeks later – from despair. Their daughter - my frien - remained orhpan ...
The hospital was only for Julia-likes (like-minded) ….
