he correctly stated those who elected him, nigroes, latinos and unemployed..
those are the once he needs to vote, if whites stay home dems are assured to win every time. |
Как говорится, "the proof is in the pudding". Talk is cheap. |
he correctly stated those who elected him, nigroes, latinos and unemployed..
----------------------------------------------------------------------- don't feel like watching the clip again, but I don't recall him mentioning the unemployed. in fact, 52% of those whose household income was $200k or more, voted for Obama. |
there is only 2% of the population with 200k+ income..
he does not need to speak to them.. it's much easier to speak to the "masses".. |
well, they were 6% of the voters (as were those whose income was under $15k). he also received 60% of the $15k-$30k vote, 55% of the $30k-$50k, 48% of the $50k-$75k (McCain got 49%), 51% of the $75k-$100k, and 48% of the $100k-$150k and $150k-$200k vote.
|
exactly, it's pretty even across most major economic groups..
where Obama really has an advantage is blacks, hispanics, unemployed. those are the people he needs to get to vote in 2010 elections.. |
I'm assuming the $15k and under are the unemployed, and they were only 6% of the voters.
|
and he won them with 3:1 margin... which mean he got 4.5 vs 1.5 for McCain..
a swing of 3% the other way and it's a tie.. 2010 elections will be MUCH tighter then presidential elections anyway... so he has to speak to his "base". |
well, the $15-$30k were 12% of the voters, and he received 60% of that vote... not sure if they should be considred unemployed, underemployed, or working poor.
