they won't, because it's not. if you want to compare it to anything, then you can compare it to the Exxon Valdez oil spill, except on a much larger scale and with the oil still gushing. unlike Katrina (which was a case of gross government incompetence), I believe Obama's administration is doing pretty much everything that can be done...

It's direct President responsibility to take over and become a crisis manager-in-chief in the case of the environtmental deisaster of this magnitude. The explosion happened in the federal waters, so it is Obama's responsibility from day 1. He proved himself the most INCOMPETENT manager. Ну может не совсем Катрина... с Катриной ясно было, что людей нужно было срочно спасать в первый же день после урагана, а с этой нефтью ...по-моему до большинства ещё и не дошло, что это экологическая катастрофа мирового масштаба и чем она грозит в ближайшем будущем
