Cycling Around Bewl Water

There are 12.5 miles of track around the lake offering an engaging ride

on a mixture of gravel, mud tracks and country lanes with some

fantastic views across the water.

You might expect a lakeside ride to be flat and easy-going and for themost part it is; the mud track sections provide a collection of slopes,twist and turns to keep your mind focussed but still let you soak upthe views and surrounding countryside.
When you get to the southwest section and take to the lanes that take you around the naturereserve, the Wealden hills throw in a challenge - around 2 miles ofsteep climbs and drops to alternately make you work hard before a shortwell earned rest as you roll down the other side, ready to climb again.
Withthe variations in riding surface, twist and turns around creeks andinlets and the friendly family atmosphere of other cyclists andwalkers, this is a fun ride and highly recommended.
Bewl Wateris located on the A21, 1 mile south of Lamberhurst and 4 miles fromWadhurst railway station. Car parking is ?6 and the ride is open tocyclists from May to October - 9am to sunset.

Расходы: 60 фунта за всю неделю отдыха с палатки на 2 человек! Плюс мелочевка за чистку туалетов (мы нанимаем уборщицу) и за столы со стульями и навесы от дождя... Да, тут это и есть отдых в палатках... с душем, кафе, частным въездом и пр... Или по ?10 с палатки в ночь + ?1-2.00 обслуживающему персоналу. Разве так дешево бывает? – скажите вы.
