The good news is - the people have money to spend.
The bad news is, the money is most likely borrowed ... again.
In addition, I agree with your statement below. and... the wave of the spending of the consumers will give a false feeling of the recovering economy, while major indicators, like employment and actual wages (etc...) are still in steep decline.
