btw, if you want a "holistic" physician, can look for one who is a member of American Holistic Medical association, Board certified by ABHIM ( Amer Board of Integrative medicine) or who graduated from the fellowship in Integrative medicine. All 3 is even better:-) . Fellowship graduates study very rigorously for a number of years how to combine allopathic and complimentary medicine.
