Well, as far as I remember, charter schools do not perform much better than public statistically, and actually, they should be doing much much better, because they have the right to say " no" to applicants ( second language learners and the underperforming students from other schools), while public schools can't say "no" to anybody. In other words, imagine yourself shopping for fruit where u can " pick and choose" from the basket e best fruit u can get as opposed to just taking the basket w/ everything inside- good or bad. Which one should be better quality?
