Is Ron Paul a racist?

Part 1
No one knows because we cannot read his mind. Perhaps the more important question, given what has come out about Ron Paul, his past writings and present supporters, why isn’t anyone in the Republican Party asking that question, publicly?
Ron Paul published a newsletter in the 80’s and 90’s that can only be described as having racist statements in it. Paul has claimed he knew nothing about what was written in those newsletters, blaming the content on the ever popular, ubiquitous and unknown “staffer.” Some of the years those newsletters were being published, Paul was making more than a million dollars a year off of them, so it is hard to believe he was not supervising or in fact writing those newsletters himself.
In 1995, Ron Paul was interviewed about his background. At the time he was out of Congress and working as an Ob/GYN. Even then, he took credit for his newsletter. ***********.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/in-1995-video-ron-paul-take....

What is most disturbing about Ron Paul is not so much that he published those newsletters, fifteen to thirty years ago, but where he stands now. People can and do change. Ron Paul has offered no evidence of change from his beliefs of fifteen to thirty years ago. In fact, his supporters claim with almost cult like devotion that his positions have not changed.
Ron Paul has a strange amalgam of supporters. Some of them are free market libertarians. Others are with various racist and anti-Semitic groups.
Unfortunately for the Republican Party, Ron Paul’s supporters include some people the GOP would rather not be associated with. Stormfront, the White Nationalist group, has dozens of its members volunteering for Ron Paul. Anti Zionist and anti-Semitic groups are also throwing their support to Ron Paul.
Interestingly enough, Paul is not disavowing them. All he says is the limp denunciation that he does not agree with them. He has done nothing to disavow them nor has he done anything to ban his campaign from working with them.
Ron Paul’s language is just the type of thing that would attract those type people. Ron Paul wants to see Israel destroyed and returned to the Muslims. He has blamed the Israeli Mossad for the 1993 World Trade Center attack.
