Alex, I don't need the Obama's answer - I heard it myself and in full. So, I'm not insisting on anything. There is no "substance" in the question alone: it was a question, not a statement. To see the "substance" you need both. So your comment being limited to the question only was intended to skew that substance. Now, you call the Obama's answer a "long rant", and I call it a substantive and thorough and reflective response to a sharp and unbiased question. So, if you want to be honest with yourself, you need to hear the full story, even if you don't like it. Even more so if you tell the story to others.
Also, I'm not sure where you got the "suicidal" thing, and I'm not sure about Guthrie's political tastes. But to me the Guthrie's question signifies reliability of the MS NBC as a source of information, that I certainly cannot say about my pitiful experience with the "Fair & Balanced". They are truly masters of half-truths!
