I wasn't referring to people working in the food service industry, although if I'm paying $30 for a plate of pasta, it is obvious that the cost of more than just spaghetti is included in the price, so why not include the tip there as well? I was referring to hair dressers, building superintendents, and even nurses... all of whom make a relatively decent living, yet still expect to be paid extra for their services. I'm not saying that you shouldn't pay a little more for a job well done, but I resent the expectation.
