Sveta, i'am actually not against the public option per-se.. as long as it does not get government subsidies and has to stay solvent ( albeit non-profit).
I don't think government can successfully compete with private insurers on price/service..
This has to be documented as a law.. ( solvency requirement ). Otherwise it will just become another money pit.
