What the lawyer was talking about, if you called, is that you can make a secret conract about not applying for spousal support ( I assume this the suggestion, but cannot say, since I'm not the one who called a lawyer). The, if your spouse applies for support, you can sue your spouse for breach of conract and get damages. Well, such an option, my friend, would be very problematic. What are you going to do, go to court and tell them this was a marriage of convenience and you don't owe you spouse anything?

My advice to Aleksand is to improve your English and after that you can go to the Immigration Canada website and see what your options are. Nothing in this world is for free, although many posters here have given a very good advice (Y)
