Лина, не переводите в сторону. Будьте честны и признайте, что если бы Обама был белым, то никакой премии он бы не получил, даже если бы умел краснобайствовать еще лучше. Повторяю: его избрание Президентом - крупное историческое событие, как-никак первый чернокожий президент США. Но Нобелевская премия тут ни при чем. Зачем спорить-то по очевидным вещам?

Продолжаю. Более того, я считаю что правильно что Обама принял премию, иначетемные массы (особенно в третьем мире) восприняли бы отказ от премиикак нежелание США бороться за мир. Что я считаю неправильным? В-первых,позорное решение норвежского нобелевского комитета и, во-вторых, самфакт выдвижения Обамы на премию. Обама должен был не допустить этого вянваре 2009 года.

А в чём заключается борьба Америки за мир?
В заключении дружественных связей с Шавецами, Кастро, Мугабе и Ахмадинеджадами? В закрывании глаз на приближающуюся угрозу создания атомной бомбы в Иране, но в пафосном порыве уничтожить все Американские ядерные боеголовки, разрешив при этом России покопатсья в наших секретных материалах?
Разьясните уж, а то не совсем понятно, как мира добиться.

Look, 30 years of Cuban blockade did not work. This is a fact. Why not try another strategy? Only idiots "stay the course" when the approach does not work.

On a more serious note, being flirtatious with thugs like Shavez dose not help people in Venesuela, who struggle for true democracy. It really demoralizes their efforts.
Or take Honduras! The president who started to exhibit authoritarian behavior was removed from power by the parliament according to their Constitution, and Obama condemned their actions ( because that guy is Shavez's friend).
Don't you see that Obama is not the kind of leader who want to advance Democracy in the world?

People deserve their government. How do those "people" in Venezuela struggle if Chavez get re-elected with flying colors? C'mon, oil is expensive, he get lots of money for it from the US (what do you drive, if I may ask? :-)), which he redistributes among the population.

No, they won't. American warheads are as old the Russian ones. It's the missiles that get old. But, once again, with the price of oil so high, who at the end pays for refurbishing of Russian arsenals?
