But no matter how many times he says it, the truth is you will paymore -- much more -- both in higher taxes and in higher premiums.
The final health-care bill is expected to cost more than $1trillion over the next 10 years. That means much higher taxes, and notjust for the wealthy.

Anyone who thinks a government takeover of the health-care systemwill improve quality of care has only to look at the health-careprograms the government already runs: The Veterans Administration isoverwhelmed with problems, Medicaid is notorious for providing poorquality at a high cost -- and Medicare has huge gaps in coverage. Worse, however, on Friday, Obama endorsed the creation of agovernment board with the power to dictate how your doctor practicesmedicine and all but endorsed the rationing prevalent in nationalizedhealth-care systems around the world.
In short, when it comes to claims about the wondrous new world ofgovernment-run health care, a bit of skepticism might be in order.

Professional societies "recommendations", insurance companies policies, what they cover, what they don't cover, hospital guidelines, OSHA, JACKO, should I continue????? The worst are insurance companies.... disgusting, demeaning, manipulative, hypocritical - all for the sake of their profits. Those who don't deal with them on daily basis just don't know. it's designed so people wouldn't really know unless they experience it first hand.

Both reps and dems are agree that changes are needed but not that kind of change.

Obama slamed doctors in his speech yesterday - saying "they would do a unnecessary procedure just to make more money.":-|

This is why he is giving 245 Billion with a B to doctors to "ensure their support for the Bill". He's giving MY money to doctors so than they can buy into the program where they'll continue to syphon more money out of the Feds, who will raise MY taxes (not just the wealthy) to cover the exorbitant costs. Of course, they don't mind the 1% increase. They'll make up for it tri-fold.

And how do you prevent the doctors from doing the unnecessary procedures? Create Department of Physician Control or some such at the cost of ... just pick a big number.
