PS. Why the liberal female politicians are so ugly, as a rule

I guess being a beauty queen is not a prerequisite - good thing, intelligence is.

But there is a high correlation between having facial repulsiveness and being a Democrat politician. I wonder about the cause and effect relationship here: does being ugly make one pursue career in Democratic politics, or becoming a Democrat politician makes one ugly?(ch)

If that bill was full of pork, why did Republicans not block it? Did they get part of that pork?

And that is the statement of how much people of this wonderful country trust (conservative) Republicans at THIS moment.
At THAT moment Republicans had a power of filibuster to block it, but did not use it because (1) some of them put some of that pork in (2) just in case the stimulus does not work, they want to get some political capital.
C'mon, it's politics as usual. Don't put too much emotion in it.

no, at THAT moment republicans had ZERO power to block anything - I told you - out of the Whole Congress only THREE republicans voted for it (two RINOs, one is an ex-republican now a democrat Arlene Spector)...some republican governors (I think Palin, LA, SC) wanted to refuse the money from the stimulus package, and dems were running ads against them to show how they were trying to prevent recovery in their states...

And for that exact reason, Алексей, these protests were Anti-Government , not anti-Obama. Same type of protests that were held during Bush administration reign against war in Iraq. Just with different people.
