I work for the biggest public school system in the world (NYC DOE). It's like Soviet Union - everything is backwards and upside down. Billions of YOUR dollars - down the drain! If they cut the budget in half and get rid of the people who do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, we'll be better off. Instructional Facilitator (92K), Four Assistant Principals (125K each), none of whom is responsible for academics, Data Specialist (75K), Learning Support Center (millions upon millions). I WANT SMALLER GOVERNMENT!

Again, the communication process seems to be broken. It is not my intent to insult anybody. The creator of this group asked to say which candidate I am voting for and why. That's exactly what I did.
I believe that Jews should vote hard-line pro-Israel foreign policy. I wrote about at length in other forums.
I respect people who make more than 250 grand a year and I don't think that they should pay more that those (myself included) who make less. Did I just insult those who make less?

Olga, I agree completely. Between your stories and those of my mom, who worked as a Director of the Family Subsidy Department for NYC and my mother-in law who works for the Maintenance department of the Palm Beach County School Board, I have heard more than enough stories to have a good sense of how my tax dollars are spent.
Hearing about a giant maintenance contract for painting ALL of Palm Beach County schools, regardless whether they are freshly painted, newly build or closed being paid for by my tax dollars really makes me wish for a more conservative (read fiscally responsible, smaller) government.
This is why I vote McCain/Palin (v)
