basically, my three previous statistics links show US being way behind in preventable diseases, life expectancy and infant mortality. I know what this group will answer to this - it's all because of those illegals:-D . But numbers are numbers whatever spin one wants to put on them.

The only problem with the life expectancy is the number of immigrants in the US compared to the other countries and their homogenous population. A lot of immigrants come here already sick and their life expectancy will be different than of "native" Americans. I am sure if you examine life expectancy of Americans vs of immigrants, you will see the difference. Plus you have 12% of the population (blacks) who have a very high infant mortality rate (because of numerous risk factors - young age of mothers, drug use, hereditary), and the infant mortality rate is taken into account when looking at the life expectancy.

Also people are going to Washington DC - to express themselves...

I went to see my congressman Thursday. He canceled his appearance. A lot of people signed the questionnaire in his office writing on the paper straight forward what we think.

Democrat reps are hiding from the Town Hall meetings that they owe their constituents. They work for us and should represent us.
