At least you agree with Canadian healthcare statement

I don't know about Canada, I don't live there... but I'm not sure which is worse, waiting 2 months for surgery or not having insurance to cover surgery in the first place.
BTW, I believe that government mandated employer health insurance is a form of socialism as well... or do you purchase your own healt insurance?

The idea of socialism/ communism is not so bad. Unrealistic and not sustainable, but sounds good.

Who said that I was a proponent of socialism - I just believe that esch system has both good as well as bad elements, and theres nothing wrong with taking the best from each. I honestly don't see US becoming a socialist society.

What text books? What about anti trust laws, unions, welfare, government subsidies of farmers, tax breaks for corporations...? All are a form of socialism. Welcome to the United States of America.
