Igor. There are few issues here. One is love and respect for YOUR country. First should come first.
Second is team play. I am not saying that Sergey said something wrong, but even if he would, you should stand by your countryman and member of your team when it comes to INTERNATIONAL debate. Russians (living in Russia) are FAR more uniform in their views (partially because of uniform media coverage, zombie style TV and etc). But look how do they respond on this or other forums - 90% or so are acting as one team. And it is not a paid gig.
Third. Love or hate for Russia/Communist party and etc.
This is personal issue and each one of us may have a different opinions a

But as I have described above, we should act more professional and think first what do we, as an AMERICANS, say about our own countryman or our own country on open forums or a media. I am NOT at all against freedom of speech and expression, but insulting your own country or people serving YOUR country is never a good idea.

Albert, I know you travel a lot and see the world (unlike lots of other people). I am sure you have an open mind and good understanding of what is going on.
I am not in the same "team" with lunatics even if they live in my country. The fact that somebody has a picture in uniform doesn't say anything about that person. I have a lot of pictures in uniform taken when I was in the army. Again, I can't stand fanatics.

фактически нарываясь на грубость, а я при этом должен проявлять "выдержку присущую военным"? Igor, i think you are very wrong about it. Interests of your country and your team should be above personal issues (if any).
I understand Sergey very well and would be even more upset to hear insults from fellow countryman (if such - I obviously can't verify identities of the people on this forum) while I am serving my own country. I can imagine what would happened if Pavel would express his opinions not on the internet but in the bar (I am reffering to American bar)....

yes, I see that in your post. But sad truth of the matter, that there is a ideological war between West and Russia, once again and in fact it is almost as strong as back in 80s. I am not one who stated it, so do not kill the messenger.

I am Republican and not a Democrat, I may like or dislike him personally, but as an American, I DO SUPPORT our President in all of his LAWFUL actions.
So far about your question, it will be an unlawful act and he can't and will not do it.

Albert, whatever he is trying to convience you of just doesn't add up...if he truly did love America, he would not be blaming her for all the foregn policies mischiefs, but he does...hence his position...
he claims no one is authorized to hold a position unless they do something..what in the world is he doing for the country?? Wouldn't even acknowledge the country has given him opportunities...very sad case, indeed...if I were you I would not waste my time...
