Сама какое время работала в проектном институте Министерства Мебельной и деревообрабатывающей промышленности инженером по информации и патентоведению. После развала все наши предприятия встали, так как все сырье шло из России....Смех и слезы рассказывать, как наши ездили в командировку выбивать эти вещи и как их посылали..... То же и другими заводами.... которые делали какой-то винтик или какую-то деталь, а все остальное делалось где-то еще.... перестали поставлять материалы для изготовления этой детали. Все. Останавливалис огромные заводы....

Рэйган сделал несколько вещей: отказал Союзу в технологиях добывать нефть, повлиял на увелечение нефти на рынки, вынудил их тратить колоссальные деньги на вооружение, и всем этим заставил их сесть за стол переговоров - у них просто не было выхода!...плюс еще из за частого смены руководства и экономических трудностей, ослабла возможность контролировать все страну (все республики)...до него никто это не делал, а наоборот, Никсон пытался с ними найти общий язык, как и с Китаем..
Кстати, сегодня это же самое происходит в России - нехватка технологией в добычи ресурсов...
А насчет трудностей экономических в республиках..такие бывшие соц, страны, как Польша и Чехия, перешли же на капиталистическую, значит это возможно, если захотеть, и у них ресурсов тоже нет...
