about "government take over" not in the bill...Obama, in 2007 when speaking in front of the union, said that he "understands that Universal heath coverage won't come right away...public option could be a transition to get rid of the employer-based coverage".. (there is a video on youtube with him saying it-it's not available right now)...
You can bash Limbaugh, Coulter, Foxnews all you want, but they know what they are talking about - they know how liberals think, and what they want at the end, and the results of their policies we have all seen...

besides who the hell know what "facts" are in or not in the bill, as it does not really exist there are at least 4 different bills, all with conflicting information.

Mike, I agree with you that nobody knows anything yet. Yes, Fox is scary because they don't trust government and, I think, that a lot of people agree with them. But I've been wondering how we can believe President and Democrats when they insist that nothing that is not in the bill will happen. If they can guarantee that, they should just close all the hospitals and start administering miracles!!! After all, that would make them incredibly powerful!!!G-d or naturecreated a perfect world for us and look what we manage to do with it!!!Whatever bill that Congress can come up with will be very far away from perfect. People will mess it up. And we all will be in deep "government care"! I've done it before, I don't want to do it again.

Watching this clip, I am SOOOO glad that I don't watch them and watch FoxNews instead. I feel so much cleaner, brighter, smarter, saner.

Гера, but no one is interested if government is not involved...the goal is not to make it easier for people to get coverage (by making it more affordable through free market)..the goal is to create aanother entitlement program to "buy" votes...so no one will be listening to what republicans offer, it just doesn't fit their original intent...

What surprised me is the date - May 20th. Way before July 14th of the Obama's Bill.

I would absolutely LOVE it if it was easier and cheaper for people to get coverage. In the meanwhile, many insurers offer contracts that are just insulting. Example: One of the local large employers offers it's employees the only option, where about $600 taken out paychek per month for family of 4, and then insurance only kicks in after meeting $5000 deductible at 80/20. Mailorder drug coverage is in effect also after this deductible is met. Concerta (ADHD) medication will still cost them $387 for 3month ( just checked it today). Now, please,somebody, tell me if those rates are reasonable or is this a total rip-off?.
So, this family, whose example I am using, changed their children coverage to CHIPS ( they still have to pay, but a lot less). Wouldn't be nice to have an adult option available, similar to CHIPS?

They have 2 options
1) standard HMO option, with no $5000 deductable and no 80/20 split. With $30/month for brand-name drug, etc. More in line with what most employers provide
2) PPO option as you described.
