Yes, There is!
Once they will start the political process - they may evolve into friendly political stading to US.
I was listening to various TV and Radio shows as well talking to Iranians working with me... they all beg to give them opportunity to make political changes.
We have people living in US, who escaped from Iran in 1970 and are very loyal to US. They want to go home and help their country to be a free developed society...(v)

Persians in US are mostly pretty cool people, however in Iran opposition and main government are not much different, and the worst thing we can do is get involved.
I mean based on the past performance of involvement in other countries...

Probably, you meant 1980, since the islamic revolution happened in January 1979, and by the end of 1979 the secular president Banizadr had to escape to France.

there is a lot of things (theoretically) we (and Europeans) can do to support the opposition besides getting directly involved (putting boots on the ground), but you have to be willing and have courage to confront, not appease..

We do not have to get involved. We need to tell them - we support them.
The majority of the population is under the age of 30! They are the once who attend Universities... and do not want to live in the Islamic Republic. They have computers and cell phones and do want freedom of speech! This alone can lead to a lot of good things.
Of course - your liberal and freedom seeking leadership can only appease the terrorists and totalitarian leader like Ahmadinejad...

Where has Obama's inspiring oratory gone?By Michael Gerson
Along with President Obama's declining public standing has come adeclining rhetorical reputation. There is, of course, a relationshipbetween the two. Even Ronald Reagan seemed a less-than-greatcommunicator after the 1981-82 recession, with his job approval ratingin the 30s. And few would be criticizing Obama's speeches ifunemployment were at 6 percent. Success is the best eloquence.
') ;// -->But Obama's rhetorical challenge runs deeper than the recession. Inthe most unexpected development of his presidency, what was onceuniversally recognized as Obama's greatest political strength -- hisoratory -- now seems a serious weakness.
The swift rise of Barack Obama was primarily a literary phenomenon. His accomplishments did not come on the Senate floor; they came atBarnes & Noble. His two autobiographies, along with his 2004 speech

I am surprised no one interested in the connection of both of our treasuries to Goldman Sachs and how they caused the AIG collapse and кинули нас всех to save Goldman...I think it's bigger than the Crusades and the Inquisition (ch) ...I really hope they will go to prison..8oI btw, why did they let Bear Sterns go? (dt) (dt) that's what I am talking about...(hu)
