what is spent in the form of a payment to a healthcare provider, is what I call waste.
So, do you mean that money shouldn’t go to hospitals at all (like one person praised an “dentist” in NY: “he performs everything in his kitchen, on the taburetka – very good prices though, I travel to him from Boston to treat my teeth")? Or that not-for-profit hospitals can manage cost efficient processes for themselves?
I see the solution in having the Government to force the existence of mandatory contractual provisions: hospitals are stimulated for preventive approach. By the nature, insurance is better positioned to enforce that than health providers themselves.

months?" - you keep bringing up Russian system. Here is something from
my experiences with Russian system (current, not old), my father had a
cancer - he got the best treatment (done surgery, luckily no chem
needed),
no cost, no wait - all happened in total of 1 month in Novosibirsk. He
is cancer free for 2 years now. My friend in Novosibirsk had a blood
cancer (4th degree which most people die from), again in Novosibirsk
she done surgeries 3 times, chem therapy - took her 2 years of
treatments, she spent 3 weeks every month in hospital - she is
cancer free now, she paid for extra - most of it was free, but all of
that cost her husband
only $9000 which here would of cost hundreds of thousands. - she didn't
wait for treatments..

Last time we were in Novosibirsk, I had food poisoning, called
ambulance - they came less than in 5 minutes, gave me medication,
spent about 40 minutes there, was VERY nice and helpful,
- no charge - my husband was shocked. how much do you think that would of cost here?

I tell you another example. We were driving thru New Orleans last
spring, my child got in to my purse in the dark and got tylenol out, we
didn't think she swallowed any, but to make sure called ambulance to
check on her, they took us to the closest hospital for proper check up,
they did two things: drove us for 5 minutes to the hospital, and
checked her blood pressure 1 time - they charged us $900 for that.

how long do you think people wait here for treatments (WITH INSURANCE) for cancer - months..

I am not taking Russian system as a great example, I like British and
French better, but even in Russia, if there an emergency - they will
treat you right away, no one would of asked me to wait 6 month, you are
very unrealistic and dramatic Mihail.

one more time, no one answered that question still, you say we will become communistic country with universal health care, but yet you can't answer me: do you think England is a communism country?

Mihail, which tricks? I stick to facts. You are the one that writes bs without thinking or knowledge of what really is going on. I don't even read most of your posts. In post for me you said nothing of Britain. you keep calling democrats communists - which reflects your level of intelligence. you don't make any sense, you lost in your own ideas based on your hate of communism and now you can't even recognize the difference between democracy and communism. what that tells me - you are incompetent opponent.
