Let me run some numbers for you. This is simple as well.
In our area:
- Doctor's visit - $60.00 per visit
- Insurance - $200 per month
-Under Obama proposal - it will be paid through taxation and additionalgovernment insurance through the employer (yet undefined by thecongress)
- If you are in a fairly good health why do you need anything other then emergency insurance
-How many times do you have to go to the doctor at $60.00 to cover theinsurance cost, which you will have mandatory under the given proposal

There are health saving accounts, where you can put money for a need to goto the doctor. When you or your child is sick, you can pay from there.
If you save $600.00 a month... uuuhh
And just may be you do not need actual insurance. (Besides emergency insurance, as I mentioned before).
