Really? How do you explain why would a 7- year old come home from his public school ( one of the best in California) and give his mom an ultimatum: "Mom, you have to vote for Obama tomorrow! If you don&39;t be your friend!". Or is it an exception?
Or, a teacher making an "altar" in a common area in school where he displays portraits of Che Gevara and Obama with a halo ( no kidding!) around his head?(md)

those would be the exceptions - unless you have evidence that suggests otherwise.

another thing I observed - liberal parents talk to their under-age kids about politics with all the juicy, mean details about the politicians.. when my daughter tells me so and so said this and that, I stop her and tell her that when she grows up and understands more she will be able to discuss it with others.. because I don't want to indoctrinate her..(ch)

not sure where you "noticed" that, but my mom took care of lots of kids (and I helped her out when I was in school), and not once did I hear any parents discuss politics with their kids (or at all). additionally, I don't remember my parents or any of my friends' parent talking about politics with their kids when I was growing up.

We are talking about now, not 30 years ago. The politicization of public schoosl in recent years got a lot worse. :-|

Has anyone been to any Tea Party gatherings today?

My husband went to the one in fort Lauderdale (unortunately I couldn't go). He thought that it was pretty well organized with about 400+ participants.

I went to one in the Belly of the Liberal Beast ( downtown San Francisco:-D ). It was awesome! Very inspiring! Tons of people!

In SF, really??? I thought the three of you wold have been stoned by the hippies. ;-) ;-)

We LOVED SF both times we visited it, but it sooooooooooo liberal
